Denise joined Polaris Renewable Energy Inc, in December 2020 and is responsible for leading the Finance Transformation initiatives including all aspects of the implementation of a new ERP system and related information technology tools.  Denise also works closely with Senior Management and the Board of Directors on corporate governance, sustainability matters and strategic initiatives.

Denise has held various progressive positions in Audit, Advisory, Accounting, Policy Development, Compliance and Financial Reporting, the most recent of which was for a TSX-listed company in the precious metals sector with a $6 billion market capitalization.

In addition, she currently serves on the Board of Directors and is the Chair of the Governance Committee at Sojourn House, a non-profit organization that provides emergency shelter, transitional housing and other services to newly arrived refugees. Denise holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration, from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) from CPA, Ontario. She is bilingual Spanish/English.
